During the past couple of decades The Land of Rising Sun seems to have taken somewhat of a back seat with the rise of Taiwanese, South Korean, and now Chinese Electronics Giants. However, there is still life left in those old aching bones and Sony proved it by launching its latest Smartphones at the Mobile World Congress 2018. Let’s take a brief look at them.
1. Xperia XZ2 : This is the bigger and better one. The XZ2 features a single rear 19 MP camera with a fingerprint scanner under it. The Full-HD display is a 5.7 inch one and runs on Sony’s in-house X-reality display engine. The 5 MP front camera will surely be a delight for all selfie lovers. This premium Smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor. It features 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
2. Xperia XZ2 Compact : The more compact version has a 5 inch screen. The battery is smaller as well. While the XZ2 has a 3180 mAh battery with QC 3.0 the younger brother features a 2870 mAh one, also with QC 3.0 support. According to the information available so far XZ2 will be available in four colour variants – Silver, Black, Moss Green, and Coral Pink.
