Dear Readers, it gives me great pleasure in announcing the arrival of three new and stylish Mobiles to the Lenovo India family. I’m talking about the Lenovo S5, K5, and K5 Play which will be launched in the Indian market soon. Let’s find out what we know about them so far.
The Lenovo S5 will feature a 5.7 inch FHD+ IPS display with a resolution of 2160 * 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It runs on Android 8.0 with a ZUI 3.7 skin over it. The engine is an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC 2 GHz processor. There are 2 RAM variants – 3 and 4 GB. ROM is available in 2 options as well – 32 GB and 64 GB, expandable up to 128 GB through a microSD card. The dual-SIM (Nano) Smartphone comes with a 16 MP Selfie camera and dual 13 MP rear cameras. The battery is 3000 mAh and the Mobile weighs 155 grams. Different models of the Lenovo S5 are expected to cost between Rupees 10,300 and Rupees 15,400 in the Indian market.
The Lenovo K series of ultra-slim Smartphones is well known through K6 Power, K6 Note, K8 Note, K8, and K8 Plus. The newest entrant K5 will carry on a proud legacy no doubt. The screen is 5.7 inch LCD HD+ and the processor 1.5 GHZ MediaTek MT 6750 SoC. Your K5 will feature 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM. The Selfie camera is 8 MP and there are 2 cameras on the rear – 5 MP and 13 MP. The colours available are Blue, Black, and Grey. The battery is 3,000 mAh and the Smartphone will cost you around Rupees 9,300.
The K5 Play will be available in Blue, Black, and Gold. It is a bit cheaper than the K5 and the base model will cost around Rupees 7,200 in the Indian market. The 5.7 inch screen is similar and there are 2 memory variants – 2 GB + 16 GB and 3 GB + 32 GB. The processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC. Your K5 Play runs on ZUI 3.7 which is based on Android Oreo. The Selfie camera is 8 MP which the dual rear cameras are 2 MP and 13 MP respectively. The battery is 3,000 mAh just like the elder sibling K5.
